Prairie View A&M Finishes Fifth at SWAC West Round Up
Prairie View A&M closed out the SWAC West Round Up with a fifth-place team finish, totaling 12,193 pins over the weekend at Max Bowl in Humble, Texas. The Panthers averaged 174.2 for the event, competing against a strong Southwestern Athletic Conference field on their home-hosted round up.
Prairie View A&M women turn in strong distance and field performances at HBCU Showcase
Prairie View A&M turned in a balanced effort across the track and the field Saturday at the HBCU Showcase at The Armory in New York, highlighted by a runner-up finish in the 60 meters and multiple performances that cracked the program's all-time indoor lists in the distance events. The Panthers produced top-eight finishes in sprints, jumps and throws while the distance group delivered two of the fastest 3,000-meter times in school history.
